I AM EDDIE.

I have been HIV-positive for 25 years. I had stage 4 lymphoma-colon cancer in 1996. The doctors said I would probably not live through the treatment or the cancer. I had zero T-cells. I have also had several other HIV-related illnesses. I've survived through seven attacks of pancreatitis, and by doing so made medical history.

Today, my T-cell count is 1042, and my viral load is undetectable. I am living my life fully.
