My name is Elmer Bisara. I am a Filipino Hawaiian 63 year old male living with HIV since 1991. I am a recovering addict/alcoholic. My clean date is 01/27/94.

HIV has allowed me to prioritize my life. I am presently employed at the San Diego American Indian Health center as an HIV case manager and outreach worker. I recently received my Bachelor's Degree in Human Services in June 2007. I am presently attending school for a Master's Degree in Non-profit Management.
